Vesicular Stomatitis found in Maricopa County

The presence Vesicular Stomatitis Virus has been confirmed in livestock in Maricopa County, in the areas of Scottsdale, Rio Verde, and Camp Verde.  Vesicular Stomatitis is a reportable disease.  If you notice blisters, sores, ulcers or any other concerning symptoms on your livestock, please call a veterinarian as soon as possible.  Information from the Arizona Department of Agriculture can be found here.
